Stop AutoPlay of USB/Pen Drive/CD's/DVD's


Hey Guys , As You know that By Deafult Windows has autoplay of all plug n play devices.And
in this century of fast usb devices,using it is a necessity.But most viruses take advantage of
autoplay facility of wndows and infect your computer as soon as plugged in without you even
noticing it,unless and until you dont have a good antivirus software.


Here I am explaining how to avoid autoplay of any device in windows ::


Follow the Steps ::

Step 1. Go to Start menu --- >Run type 'regedit' (without quotes)

Step 2. In the window that appears navigate to HKEY_USERS---->DEAFULT---->Software-->- Microsoft--->Windows---->Policies--->Explorer
Double click the value "NoDriveTypeAutorun"

Step 3.instead of the value 91 that appears by default,type 'ff' (without quotes,without caps) and press OK

Step 4.Now navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER--->Software---->Microsoft--->Windows--->- Policies--->Explorer

Step 5.Exit the window and restart windows... That's All ,You're Done!!
