Create A Simple Folder Lock Without using Any Software


Hey Guys, Want to hide your private data from others ??? but Reluctant to use Professional Softwares ? Here i m telling u simple way by which u can do it without using any software ...

Just follow the steps : : :

Here i m telling you to do as Practice example,how to do that-
Step 1: Create a New Folder,Rename it to Any name like "gg" .


Step 2. Create a new Text file in the same drive next to the folder and type this command into it:-

ren gg gg.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} Save this file as lock.bat


Step 3: create Another text file and type this command into it :-

ren gg.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} gg save this file as key.bat

"lock.bat " will be used to make the folder inaccessible an "key.bat" will be used to revert it into its original form.

Step 4: Now just double click the lock.bat file to make the folder inaccessible. Here the icon of the folder will change and becomes the icon of "Recyle Bin" because here we use 'CLSID' key of 'Recyle Bin'.

(1) First After Creation of " lock.bat,key.bat " and folder named as "gg" .


(2) When you click on lock.bat .the Icon of folder will change like :


(3) When You again double click on key.bat then again folder icon change :


whatever we have done here,is that we have renamed the folder with a racdom CLSID , which
will change its identity into something else . 'CLSID' is a unique registry-identifying copmponent that is used to identify an ACtiveX control or in simple language ,it identifies which file/Control
will be opened by which program in Windows.

Some Common CLSID's are here like:

1) Recycle bin - 645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E

2) Control panel - 21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D

3) Run - 2559A1F3-21D7-11D4-BDAF-00C04F60B9F0

4) Search - 2559A1F0-21D7-11D4-BDAF-00C04F60B9F0

5) Connect To - 7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E

6) Briefcase - 85BBD920-42A0-1069-A2E4-08002B30309D

7) Help - 2559A1F1-21D7-11D4-BDAF-00C04F60B9F0

Create a PDF Viewer ShortCode
