Guest Post Format


Check out some previous guest articles to get an idea about the format. Please stick to the format when you send the article and read these guidelines.
  • Introduction - Your name will be introduced in the first line as “Guest post by”. Authors name can be linked to your site.
  • First line – Choose the text carefully as first line automatically becomes the META description tag of the article and affects search engine search result rankings.
  • Article Text - Add bold, underlines, break into paragraphs and try bullets, numbered lists to get a better copy.
  • Subheadings – its a good idea to split your article by subheadings. Only use h3 tags.
  • External Link policy -There is no limit to external links to other sites. All links are do-follow.
  • Images - Strongly recommended you add an image as it helps to get a better reader response. You can find some images on Flickr with Creative Commons license which can be legally shared based on the CC license. Include optimized fast loading images with maximum 500px wide to fit in our template. Indicate source of image for credits.
  • Author Byline – all articles need some information about the author. You can add one link to your site here which links to keywords for your site title. Do not link to SEO targeted keywords. Max 2 links allowed in whole article to your site. We will not link to unrelated author bylines e.g pharma / food bloggers links on a tech article.

Recently Google made Docs more advance by adding the uploading, storing and viewing video feature to Docs. Here is the way how you can upload and view video in Google Docs. Google provide 1GB space for upload a video with the maximum resolution of 1920x1080. It also supports multiple formats like WebM , MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files, AVI MPEGPS, WMV and FLV. To upload a video just click on upload button at the left top. To watch your Uploaded video simple click on the file from your document list.

Google Calendar's Favicon Changes Every Day

When Google Calendar changed the Favicon , many people wondered why it only shows 31 . "Does it mean that starting today, every day will be the 31st ? Seriously, favicon should be changed everyday to match the date," suggested a Google Calendar user. Google listened to the feedback and the favicon will now change Every Day. "When you look at the Google Calendar icon at the top of your browser window, it will no longer always display 31 but will instead change to reflect the current day of the month. Today's date is now always a short glance away." Google Calendar is the first Google service that has a dynamic favicon, but you can change Gmail's favicon to show the number of unread messages . Click to Enable button.
