Connect iPad to Your TV

Do you want to use your iPad with TV or Projector and watch YouTube videos, photo slideshows, movies etc. On the large screen with everyone else in the living room>

If your answer is yes than Here is something by which you can do it easily....

From the iPad help file :

To connect an iPad to your TV or a projector, you can either use the Apple Component AV Cable, Apple Composite AV Cable, Apple iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter or other iPad compatible cable. If you are using the Apple Component AV Cable, high resolution video will be shown in HD quality.

Use TV out setting to set up how iPad plays videos on your TV.

When the cable is connected to a TV or a projector, an application that supports playing video to an external display will automatically use it when playing video. Of the built in application, video, photos, and YouTube support external video display.

Set the TV signal to NTSC or PAL : Choose Video >  TV signal and select NTSC or PAL. NTSC and PAL are TV broadcast standards, used in different regions. IF you are in the Americas, NTSC is probably the correct choice. Elsewhere, try PAL. If you are not sure, check the documentation that came with your TV or projector.

Google Translate, Now With Voice Input

Google Chrome 11 added support for HTML speech input API. " With this API, developers can give web apps the ability to transcribe your voice to text. When a web page uses this feature, you simply click on an icon and then speak into your computer's microphone. The recorded audio is sent to speech servers for transcription, after which the text is typed out for you." Google Translate is the first Google service that uses this feature. If you use Google Chrome 11 Beta , Google Chrome 12 Dev / Canary or a recent Chromium build and visit Google Translate (Click Here) , you can click the voice input icon. Right now, this feature only works for English, so you need to select "English" from the list of input languages.
