Make Phone Calls from Gmail

Google introduced one more service for his user to make more friendly and useful. Now Next time when you are using the Gmail you don't need to get out your phone and type the number. You can make phone calls right from your Gmail with just one click.

All you number in email or chat message will be hyper linked, clicking that will pop up a dial pad with the number you are trying to call.
To use this feature you need have voice plugin in your browser, If you don't already then get voice and video plugin and of course you need to have credit to make the call. The calling charges vaires according to the location. You can check out the charges list to add credit.

Google gives multiple option to add credit to your voip account. you can use credit card or Google checkout. Let me know your views about this Gmail features in comments.

Google Translate, Now With Voice Input

Google Chrome 11 added support for HTML speech input API. " With this API, developers can give web apps the ability to transcribe your voice to text. When a web page uses this feature, you simply click on an icon and then speak into your computer's microphone. The recorded audio is sent to speech servers for transcription, after which the text is typed out for you." Google Translate is the first Google service that uses this feature. If you use Google Chrome 11 Beta , Google Chrome 12 Dev / Canary or a recent Chromium build and visit Google Translate (Click Here) , you can click the voice input icon. Right now, this feature only works for English, so you need to select "English" from the list of input languages.
